Being on an 100% Plant Based Diet can sometimes
be a challenge especially if you have a sweet tooth.
I am sharing what I do when I have sweet tooth, when I want something more than just a banana. Because in the beginning I would make banana smoothies to help with sweet cravings.
Homemade No Bake Raw Cake!
Crust made with Black Walnuts and Dates. The Cream made with Cashews, Maple Syrup, Vanilla, Coconut Oil. Topped with Some Strawberries! So Good and Healthy. Plant Based.
To create this you will need a pie pan, I used Dates and Black Walnuts as the crust.Put a few dates and 1 cup of Black Walnuts in a food processor, the mixture will have a gummy texture, place this on the pie pan and pressed through out the pan to create your crust, place the crust in freezer while making the Filing Part.
For the Filling
You will need 1 cup of Cashews that has been soaked the previous day, 1 tablespoon of Pure Vanilla, 2 Tablespoon of Grade B Maple Syrup, 2 table spoon of Pure Coconut Oil and last but not least exact 2 cups of Spring Water. Blend all together.
Get your crust out of the freezer, and slowly fill the pan with your Filling Mixture. Place your dessert in the freezer for a couple of hours.
Be creative add some fruit like strawberries or blueberries.
Cut your self a slice and enjoy a gluten free dessert.
If you don't like Cashews you can use Macadamia Nuts.
Chia Pudding Parfait!
This was made with Chia Seeds, Homemade Almond Milk, 1 Banana and a Few Strawberries.
How to make this?
First thing first you must soak 2 tablespoons of Chia Seeds in a bowl with the Milk of your choice, (I prefer Almond Milk) for 24 hours. The next day stir the Chia Seed Pudding, it should be nice and thick.
Cut your banana into slices, get a handful of strawberries, and get either a regular bowl or glass.
Place a good amount of the Chia Seed Pudding at the bottom, and then add a couple of sliced bananas and few strawberries. Then the process over until have a completed parfait.
